The Story of Provence
How to design a brochure for a high-end development with no photography and just a few artists renderings. Not a new marketing dilemma. Housing developments are always sold before they are finished.
The name was the key to this project. Provencé. Considered by many to be one of the most liveable places on earth, Provencé is bound by the Alps and Italy to the east and the Rhône River to the west, with the Mediterranean Sea providing its southern border. It is the hills that bind the sea to the alps. These are the sloping vineyards; the cultivated lands and the colorful scenery that charmed Cezanne, Van Gogh and Chagall.
We tastefully used Cezanne from the Getty collection to convey the sentiment of the builders of Provencé in Minnesota.
